Analysis, part 2 - Shoulder Point

The shoulder point itself was likewise quilted but intentionally asymmetrical in shape; it "leaned" forward slightly, as the back of the shoulder point was one quilt line wider than the front, or ¾". 

The quilt line that intersected the bottom corner of the shoulder point (hereafter called the "center quilt line," although that is technically an imprecise term ...) aligned perfectly with the shoulder seam to create a continuous line from the neck to the bottom of the shoulder seam.
