Another distinguishing aspect of the DS9/NEM "captain jacket" was the aforementioned sleeve cuff, which appeared to have been constructed in the same manner as its duty jumpsuit counterpart: two ⅜" raised bands and a ½" division stripe between them, with the latter being made from the same cotton lycra as the division shirt ensuring a perfect match on the wearer.
